VST Instruments vs. Add Instrument Track?

I wasn’t aware of the more efficient way of enlarging the track (loop). That’s much faster than copy and paste
I did see on a YouTube video that if you create another Audio “Output” and “FX” channel in the VST Connections, that you can route the outputs of all those tracks to that these new Outputs / Groups. Then make sure that as the loops are playing over and over, that the new recorded Audio Track is not overwriting the previous ones. You can improvise “live” as much as you want with the loops or VST Instruments that you’ve brought in as well. When done recording, grab each new track (sitting on top of one another), spread them out one after the other, and voila, there’s the new (consolidated) recording. I may be saying something that more seasoned CuBase users already know, but it helps me and I’m learning more and more… and having fun doing it. I just wish it was this easy 20 years ago when we were using linear tape machines! Thanks again, always appreciated.
