I am using vst link to connect two systems in ADR. One system is the ADR system with video playback black out and blackin. The other system is used as a video only playback system for the director without the ADR videooption so he sees the video without the black in and out option. Now it came to my mind to use the Adr record function of the video only system as a security system over vst link. Is it possible?

That should work, IIRC VST system link controls record as well. You still need to route the signal to both systems though.

unfortunatly only transportfunctions are transfered.

You should be able to port audio between computers if you have enough I/O
