VST Live 2.1.30 Pre-Release is online

Happy New Year, Friday!

And of course, a new Pre-Release 2.1.30 is online. You can download it here. You also can find a Version History (PDF) there. If you found new bugs or bugs which are not fixed, please create a new thread and title it with [2.1.30].

And have you realised that there are two new pages online?
A Page for an online Version History, click here
And another Page for latest Features, click here

Yep, 2.1.30 contains some new features

App : New “Part End” Menu entry
You’ve requested a new Loop Entry, “Part End”. Here it is

Media Player : Attach to Default Audio Out Port on init
A new Media Player instance will automatically connect to the Default Out Port. And, yes, all settings were lost on reload. That’s fixed now.

Tracks : Color Picker for Folder Tracks
Finally, it’s possible to colorise Folder Tracks.

Enjoy your weekend,
Michael.

Thanks again! FX2Group :hugs:

Frohes Neues!

Thank you! I’m new to vst live. I downloaded a couple weeks ago through Steinberg download assistant. I had a lot of crashes and some frustrating experiences, although I saw the promise.

I found this forum last week and installed the latest weekly build. it’s FAR more solid. I look forward to installing this latest update. i will chi,e in if I have any issues or suggestions. I’m glad to see the active attention from the team this software needs and is getting. I’m a long time cubase user, and I look forward to using this live!

Hi and welcome @trixdropd,

Good News. We are trying to release every Friday a new Pre-Release. From time to time we’ll push a version to the SDA. I guess your last version was 2.1.21?
If a new crash appears, please give us the Crash Report here and a short description how it happened. Then we’ll analyse the report to fix the bug as soon as possible.

See you,
Michael.

I just love the responsive adjustment of the 2 remaining buttons and the folder colorization😎

Tiny little things I’ve found after doing a test run:

  • New Time Display can’t find it’s optimal sizing within the DisplayFrame (WIN11 only!)

  • MTC Slave not perfect

  • (MediaPlayer memory handling)
