@Spork color scheme is good, but detached windows (lyrics, chords etc) don’t change color!!

EDIT: you need to modify the color scheme, then close and reopen vstlive for the change to take effect on detached windows!

EDIT 2: in detached lyrics the header is still grey (not black like embedded lyrics tab). See:

While we are at it, could you implement a button to hide headers in detached window to have only the lyrics without the buttons on top row ? Clean the teleprompter view … Chhers!

Woo hoo! Thanks guys. Really appreciate it. @Spork @musicullum

Hi @ciro1983811,

… oh, sorry, that’s fixed now. Please re-try with the next Pre-Release (2.2.21).

Yes, good one. Let us think for a while. We’ll be back soon with a solution …

/Michael.

I have the occasional 2 second buzz in the audio. Happened on 2.2.19 as well.

Tried turning off MP and high priority but no difference.

Also noticing clicks and pops but not as much as 2.2.19

Windows 11. Processor running at no more then 25% according to task manager.

Tracks : Find Missing File Dialog

Hello, I’m always happy when the developers implement things. Thanks for that. However, I have to ask a question. Don’t these two buttons have the same function, or am I mistaken?

Bild 20.04.25 um 11.31

Song Media Files lists files which are used in the currently active Song. Since the last version, you can click those “NOT FOUND” to find them.

This has nothing with Import at all

Well, it is what it is. Still, I wish the “NOT FOUND” function worked differently. I have to select each file individually again. Why can’t I say, “Here’s a folder, and in this folder are all the files belonging to the song?”

It was planned that once you find a file, it will look for all other files in that folder to check if those match other missing ones. We did not quite make it for the last release, coming.

We have added that functionality. Once you found a missing files, all other files in that folder will be examined for containing other missing files.
Also we added copying found files to their media folder (aka “audio”, “midi” etc), so no re-targeting is necessary. Coming next version.

Great, the tension is rising!

That is an awesome and waited one, thank you again. Could you just consider tweak it so that would let me update my file, like I have Mix1 (deleting then) willing to replace-relocate my file to Mix2. It currently stricts to have the same filename for relocate-missing.

I know that is somehow a feature request, but would speed up my workflow in such cases

Yes, we had already prepared to allow that, will do.

Yuhuu, I will love that and Thank you

Works very well in version 2.2.21, thanks.

Next version removes that restriction, give it a try. But the suffix (“.wav” etc) needs to match.

Will help my workflow a lot, thank you! Yes, of course not mixing file-formats

Hm, I´m not really happy. The files in my “song” order will be found now, that´s fine. But why does VST Live still copy the files to a superior AUDIO folder??? Why can´t the program use the path to the original song folder? For me it makes no sense to double the files. The same with Video.

That was wished for, and for good reason, as it helps to keep things together.
But I see your point as well, so we added a question whether you want that.
