I’ve setup song groups so that I can control the mix to headphones/monitors and main speakers as separate mixes for each song and for each instrument and audio/MIDI tracks. I assign the piano to PHeadMix and PSpeakMix, I then save the project, go to a different song and then back to the song I saved the outputs on and VST Live haschanged the output of the piano to the name of the song. The piano is still going to the PHeadMix, but at a lower volume.
Cannot reproduce (with upcoming pre-release version).
But recent pre-release versions did have some issues with Sends (mostly with Song Channel though).
“Piano” is a Stack. If I try to re-create that situation, it works flawlessly.
Created 2 groups, connected to 2 seperate outputs, send from stack (my mic) to either Group or directly to out, change Songs, no such problems.
Pls try again with the next version and let us know if it works out for you, thanks for reporting.
I upgraded to 2.2.44 which did fix most of the Song Channel Save issues, however there is still a problem with saving the Metro channel to Song Channels if I try to save the Metro main output to a Song Channel instead of the default Stereo Out. For live performance I don’t want the Metro or the Metro Precount going to my main speakers. I need to control the output to go only to headsets.
