Note : If you already installed the latest Pre-Release 2.2, you don’t need to jump to this version. Nothing changed. We just pushed this version to the Steinberg Download Assistant.
is it possible to have access to the DAWproject file? Then we analyse the project.
Question : Have you tried to import the DAWproject file back to Cubase? That’s fine?
Yes, reimporting the DAWProject file into Cubase worked without any problem.
I guess you can’t do much with my DAWproject file, as long as you don’t have my FamousE Rhodes library for Kontakt, can you? Do you have Kontakt8 and any Kontakt8 libraries? If yes, which ones, so I might test these?
Maybe I will test the functionality with some HalionSonic instrument next.
I have access to Native Access and Kontakt 8. I guess all libraries, too. But I cannot find “FamousE” in the “Native Access” application. Is that the name? If you like to can give me that file and I’ll check what’s going on.
And or
Do you have access to “80s New Wave”? It’s a small library and fast to install.
Yes, I have “80s New Wave”, but it’s just a crappy little loop library - I’d rather test an instrument library (they all have a lot more samples to load) to have a standard use case for Kontakt instruments.
I could test something like NI’s Scarbee Classic EP 88s, if you have access to that.
FamousE Rhodes is not from NI, but a Kontakt library from Orange Tree Samples, which works without any problems in Kontakt 8 with Cubase 14 Pro. I definitely need it to work fine with VST Live DAWProject import from Cubase 14, using it as my go to Rhodes library in many projects.
Hi Mike. I have a challenge here - I want to edit some MIDI tracks I recorded using Halion Sonic and Kontakt’s Scarbee. I cannot export those tracks to work/edit with as MiDI say in Studio One, Any workaround here?
… use “VST Live / Menu / File / Export Media Project” and export it to an empty folder. Attention : Your project should be saved before your are doing this.

And the result will be :
This Im- and Exporter words only for Cubase. For Studio One you’ll need the DAWproject Export function for VST Live. Coming soon.
… not really, sorry. Just start a new Thread with your question. I am pretty sure you’ll get an answer in time. The Forum community is very active, nice and cool.
