Wow, Thank you! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Is there a way to undo the update after it is installed? My DMX has stopped working and I don’t know if it is the update that is causing the issue.

If you are talking about V3 , dmx tracks faders now act as master dimmer faders, check if your dmx track have fader to -100 and put it back to 0, I already signaled it and should be fixed in next pre-releases. Anyway you can have V3 and V2 both installed and working.

Cheers, Ciro.

I updated both V2 and V3 and my DMX stopped working on both. I turned up the DMX fader int he track view and still no lights? Was hoping to go back a version to see if it works.

… sorry and yes. The next Pre-Release should have fixed it.

/Michael.

Thanks for the report — sorry to hear you’re running into this.

To better understand what’s happening, we’ll need a bit more information. As a first step, could you please check whether the following works in a new project:

  1. Start VST Live 2
  2. Create a new project
  3. Go to TRACKS
  4. Add a DMX track
  5. Add a DMX clip (e.g. from 1.1 to 2.1)
  6. Connect it to your DMX device
  7. Add a few DMX events

Please let us know whether this setup works.

Also, just to clarify:

  • Did the issue start after opening a VST Live 2 project in VST Live 3?
  • Was the project saved in VST Live 3 and then reopened in VST Live 2?

To keep this announcement thread on topic, it would be best to open a new thread dedicated to this issue and continue troubleshooting there.

Thanks for your help,
Michael
