Looks really good - but why is the lyric entry box still so small?

Fix this. :slightly_smiling_face:

… thank you!

… you mean that one?

Right. It’s very small. We’ll improve it.

PS: now I hope there will be time to improve dmx handling…. Custom channels name, something to manage chases, scenes, assign block of fixtures, have a main dimmer fader … the dmx player module like we have media player module and so on … one can always dream to reach perfection, we are almost there!!

Congratulation for the release !

Does a release note / feature list / comparison to V2 exist?

Maybe the Version History will help? Download

Or the new Online Manual. More here

See you
Michael.

I hope there will still be final fixes for version 2? Otherwise, I’m not going to buy version 3 and be a beta tester again at my own expense)

… of course, @sergeantt67. We will continue to add fixes for the version-2-product line. On Friday we will release 2.2.86 with one fix for you. The Crash while reloading another project.

See you,
Michael.

Suggestion for new Monitor view : a visibility filter for the available out channels. Not every channel is a iem/monitor output, and i have a dozen of out but only need to quickly acces 6 iem out channels  - also, given that the monitored channels are in reality just a GUI for the channel sends - also a pre/post fader indicator/switch in the monitor view should be a good thing to have.

Other request of clarification: DMX channels in mixer - are the faders a track dimmer now?

what is the slider in place of pan ?

As my band wades into having an actual light show, I am excited to work with these improvements! My perennial question, will we see sidechains for Layers (please, oh please)? Looking forward to keeping everything under the umbrella of VST Live. Keep up the great work!

With 2 fixes [2.2.44] Is still writing crash dumps without visualy crashing - #19 by sergeantt67 and this, musicullum wrote that they found out why Ampbox from Mercurial crashes when closing VST Live 2, this is the most important thing for me

I just bought VST Live pro 2 in Sept, do I have to buy this again? or is there an upgrade?

yes, buy VST Live Pro 3

Is there audio side chaining yet? I had to abandon using the last version because I need a vocoder for live vocals.

I’ve been asking about sidechain for some time. They have been working on it, but there still must be some elements that aren’t ready. I’ve been loading instances of Arturia Vocoder V and Pigments as stand alone and using a separate keyboard for it. Far, far from ideal.

Remote by tablet now working ?

same for me. I’m a customer, not a beta tester. And as a customer, seing a new version coming while there is still bugs to be corrected int he previous one is always a bad signal.
