StudioOne is not sending DMX! It doesnt have DMX capabilities.

still can’t get ArtNet working.

I think we gave advices anno. Using in daily basis, also ArtNet is driver-independent. I wouldn’t say it’s impossible you struggle with, but it should be simply working if all non-VL network configs are correct. Do you have one or two ETH conn in your computer? (Eg ETH+WN?)

Maybe I’m wrong, but If I remember correctly you’ve asked anno why VL can’t do LiveCamFeed. Now it does but I still keep my opinion: that kind of thing for stage-performance starts at €5000+ (camera that can run 90mins in camera mode, 400-600mm lens, quality-stand, quality-cable, low-latency capture card)

I’ve given up on for many reasons - reliability being the main one

On 19th, played front of 950pax, 21th 380pax and generally performed for >3100 pax just in december so far, needless to say with VL, and all went good and playing on 27th again,

I send midi to start and stop the media player. It’s broken. Specifically if I send a midi command from the track or through the midi jack, it only works correctly AFTER going into the media player and clicking play and stop with the mouse first. Again, I posted a video months ago showing this.

I/we also decided to control MediaPlayer manually for my tour to stay on the safe side. I’m sure, developers will fix this after the holiday season ( @musicullum )

I would personally suggest you to give a try to recent versions (eg 2.2.90 or 2.2.91-newVideoEngine). If something is still not perfect on your side, just add a new post to that(!) thread like “unfortunately still facing with this and that using v2.2.87” (except MediaPlayer that we now reminded again)

It’s not traditional to have to try 100 versions of a software to see which one doesn’t crash in your workflow.

The main intention is to provide versions which fix issues. It’s up to you what to make of it, we are offering additional benefit, which may not be traditional…

I posted a video months ago showing this.

If we were to find and view all videos, we couldn’t fix anything. It’s kind of you to help with videos, but most of the time, textual descriptions are much easier to follow and register for us, thanks for understanding.

Just tried: new project, create midi track, add midi note at 1 and 3.1 assigned to media player quick 1, range 1-127 and ui type toggle, works fine here, also immediate after save/load in both 2.2.91 and 3.0.11

Of course it doesn’t, never said it does, but I can send program changes internally to Showbuddy, and externally to à DMX desk, far more flexible than a load of faders with no memory locations, patches etc, unless that’s new in V3?

You could actually the do the same controlling via VSTplugin2ShowBuddy via VSTLive2/3 no? could you try it that time?

When there’s a demo of V3 I might, for now I’m not spending any more time on V2
