Hello everyone. I’m trying to figure out how to use VST Live 3 and OBS together. I can’t understand why when I connect the VST Live Audio source to OBS, it only plays in mono on the right channel.
In “Connections,” I selected OBS Audio Stereo.
It seems like everything should be working properly, but it’s not.
I’ve attached some screenshots to help you understand what I’m talking about.
I’m not quite sure what you’re talking about. As I described in Connections, OBS Audio Stereo is installed (first screenshot). Or is there another option to view it?
Update: If you’re referring to the OBS settings, it’s set to stereo.
It’s strange, but it still doesn’t work for me. Everything is the same. I installed version 3.0.40, then saw your message and checked version 3.0.39 just in case, but for some reason, the left channel still doesn’t work. I have OBS version 32.1.2 installed.
@fkalmus, what did you do if you have it worked in .39? Now in .40 it’s the same - OBS (32.1.2) receives only right channel and with a delay of almost 1 second.
Sorry guys, seems my bad. OBS was currently on another scene, so captured the desktop audio, not the VST Live Audio src.
Sorry @musicullum “VLAudio->OBS forwarder” still broken and exclusively transferring RIGHT output as dual-mono. Means VL’s right signal is received in OBS as a duplicated-rightchannel-mono. As soon as panning VL fully LEFT, no signal is received in OBS.
