Hi,

it sounds like a Permission problem. Let’s try …

  1. Can you please update to the latest “Pre-Release”?
    1.1 You can download the latest version here
    1.2 Manually delete the VST Live from your Applications folder
    1.3 Install 1.4.59

  2. Temporary rename the folder /Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Content/VST Sound/

  3. Now run VST Live. Does it start?

  4. Close VST Live

  5. Rename the folder from [2] to the original name “VST Sound”

  6. Start VST Live again
