… and it’s finally Friday! A new Pre-Release 2.2.15 of VST Live has been released. You can download it here. If you encounter any new bugs or notice any unresolved issues, please start a new thread and label it with [2.2.15].
This time some new features have been added. Here’s a short description of them.
Actions : MIDI Out for Actions
Yes, it’s now possible to send actions back your MIDI device. There is a new view in the upper area of the “Actions and Shortcuts” dialog. Select a row and configure the Output behaviour of the Action. There’s also a “In->Out” control to mirror the configuration of an Input to the Output.
Actions : Save/Load of Categories
It’s also possible to save and load Categories. If you like you can share your file. Maybe we should collect them in one thread? Let us know.
Layer : Show Active Output in Menu
If you are working with a lot of Shared Instrument you will be lost in the “Instrument Menu”, because you cannot find out where the Main Instrument. The menu will now mark the source Layer.
This time we could not notarised the Mac Installer. Sorry. If you want to run the installer you need to Cmd+Click to the Installer and choose “Always Open with Installer”.
Hi, I was just testing the following (quoted from Spork on your new release news): ** *Bypass Layer and Stack * And it’s now possible to bypass a Stack or a Layer. Those controls are also part of the Actions now.
So that blue button at the right upper corner of the layer window crashes my setlist/VSTL. However, it does not crash the system if I click on a new empty song with just one layer created. On my side it is not crucial, as I don’t even understand it yet. I don’t even know where the crash dump file is located. So lets wait for others to raise the issue.
