VST Live Pre-Release 2.2.17 is online

Hello Friday!

and another Pre-Release 2.2.17 of VST Live has been released. You can download it here. If you encounter any new bugs or notice any unresolved issues, please start a new thread and label it with [2.2.17].

Once again some new features have been added.

Actions : “Reset All” Control
If you need a complete category reset? Here it is

Stacks : Volume-Edit-Display and Peak-Info to SEND Controls and Volume Faders
Send Controls now have a db Display which is editable. All Volume controls received also a dB-Edit Control and Peak-Display

Layer : Audio-Peak and MIDI-Leak to Volume Display
The layer Volume Control also show the last Peak for Midi or Audio

MIDI : Reset MIDI Devices
And finally … : It’s now possible to reset MIDI Devices. When do I need it? If you have connected new MIDI device while VST Live is running, use that function.

And of course we fixed bugs and improved workflows. More here

Have a nice weekend,
Michael.

Nice little improvements that will make our VST Life easier

Thanks a lot.

I open a project with my midi keyboard off - turn it on - Reset midi
I have no midi signal, I have to select again the midi input on the layer to have sound. Is this ok? I would expect to have my keyboard reconnected just with the Midi reset option.

Not here…

  • new project
  • add Layer if not yet present
  • play and hear to check it works
  • disconnect MIDI device
  • reconnect MIDI device
  • Reset MIDI
  • all good

This is what it should do. If the same MIDI device was never connected before, you need to assign ports in “Devices/Connections”.
