VST Live Pre-Release 3.0.21 and 2.2.101 are online

Hi,

the last public release (3.2.20 + 2.2.100) unfortunately caused some issues. We sincerely apologize for that.

We have now prepared new pre-releases (3.2.21 and 2.2.101), which should resolve the crashes and unstable states reported in the previous version.

Our next goal is to push an updated version to the SDA within the next weeks, so your feedback is very important to us. Please let us know about your experience with these builds.

You can download them here.
The version history is available here.

Have a nice week,
Michael.

The link on 3.0.21 (not 3.2.20!) still downloads 3.0.20.

If you’re desperate for it, copy the link and change 20->21

… argh, yes. Sorry #2 - it’s fixed,
Michael.

@CliveJ You missed the point.
@Spork thank you.

Not in the slightest :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hi, unfortunally, VST Live continues to crash when I switch to a live broadcast in Video Director.

Can you please check if a Crash log was created?

Please drop the file here. Then we can analyse it.

Thank you,
Michael.

Unfortunally, no crash log was recorded. The issue occurs when switching in Video Director from the live camera feed to a video and then back again. After this, VST Live becomes unresponsive and cannot be reached (no response).

Video wont play anymore, something to do with opengl drivers not found….

kind regards

In VL 3.0.21 on windows 10 only video monitor 2 works.

On MacOS 15.7.3 non of the video outputs are working due to missing openGL drivers.

Previous versions had no problems.

Hey guys,

I’m facing an issue since the update of 3.0.20, still continuing in 3.0.21.

I use the following Routing:

  • Global Layer routes MIDI In 1 to Virt-MIDI 1
  • A track records MIDI In 1 and is routed to Virt-MIDI 1 (for later playback)
  • A per Song Layer stores the Instrument, fed by Virt-MIDI 1

This works great to have flexible routing options, having a proper template for new songs and still changing instruments per song.

This worked flawlessly in previous versions (3.0.10). However, now it only works the moment I select the instrument and start playing. As soon as I change the song and then change back, it seems like MIDI isn’t routed anymore or something else is broken. Depending on the instrument, there is no audio at all or at very low volume.

I see this behaviour indepedently of the instrument. I have the same issue for Roland Concerto, Arturio Synths etc.

Is it possible to investigate this issue and try to fix it in one of the next versions?

Many thanks!
