Guys, its more unstable than ever. Both Pc and Laptop cant play the files, just distorted noise and lock up machines. (3.0.32, windows 10 and 11)

Also……All song tempo tracks are getting mixed up… messing everything up.
The tempo and signature tracks need to be in a separate folder for each song, if only they could be found. Or the ability to rename them might help.

The amount of days and hours lost on your program is unbelievable

i just rehearsed all my project (80 songs) in 3.0.32 no issues at all … videos, lyrics, dmx, backing tracks and live audio stacks, plus midi external mixer synched. just no layers and small midi tracks.

So cannot confirm instability at all. windows 11.

Just updated. I confirm instability. CPU usage is twice as more comparing to previous versions :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

It is rapidly changing from this position (some 45%) to some 75% and make crackles. Red alert is on all the time.

Tested many times restarting VL, then restarting laptop, no changes. Reinstalled 3.0.31 and open the same project - indicator shows some 25-30% without hitting red alerd.

Then updated again to 3.0.32 and without any changes it works nice. So it seems that installation itself does not clean something or whatever, I cannot imagine.

Anyway thanks for update!

Her @ArthurNeeman,

I can’t upgrade to latest to check right now but can you go into audio settings and change the buffer size from if its 64 to 129 and then back to 64. It should settle the cpu. At least it does in my case.

It doesn’t have to be high, just needs to be changed. you can go lower. If it settles, this has been going on for a while now.

I have occasional CPU spikes (also with 3.0.31) and can’t find reason, can’t narrow for now

@talporal, it’s not the problem because I use 512 all the way. With 64 any version does spikes for me (I use UR44C on USBC).

@fkalmus, try uninstall any existing version and install fresh new update. It helped me in current situation.

I’m on Mac, unfortunately remove-reinstall didn’t help in my case. (fyi @Spork )
