VST Live Pre-Release 3.0.40 / 2.2.120 Are Available

Hi,

our yesterday’s release had some trouble with the Video Engine Playback. This issue has now been fixed, and we are very sorry about that.

The new Pre-Releases 3.0.40 and 2.2.120 are available now.

You can download them here.
The version history is available here.

See you,
Michael.

Thank you!
Everything works for me.

Hi Michael,
Thank you very much. Works great on Windows 11.

Great work.

It works for me in Win 11 and Win 10,

Just did a quick test, multiprocessing now seems to work fine (didn’t work at all for me on version 3.0.38) and it also seems like activating it fixes one issue I had with short dropouts while changing parts. I will see if it stays that way all the time during my next rehearsal.

So, multiprocessing works fine as long as I preload every single song one after another. But if I preload the entire setlist at once, the CPU meter will be red all the time and playback stutters.

I always used multiprocessing off, but now just to test I activated it and no problems. Preloaded all songs at once and then on switching songs by mouse or automatically on transitioning between songs it hits red stripe, but plays normally without any red. And on transitioning the red activates only when tracks refreshed shortly after the song started. No problems with sound even it alerts with red.

With multiprocessing enabled, there’s a delay of about 2-3 seconds when switching songs, and the red indicator flashes, just like Arthur’s. It’s not because of his old computer, as he writes. I have an AMD Ryzen 9 5950 16-Core Processor.

If I turn it off, everything switches instantly.

And one more thing in the last two versions 119-120.
These are incorrect names in the audio device stack. I set the input to analog 1, everything works fine, I save and close it, and then out of nowhere, when I open the stack, it has a different name. Even though if you click on the connection, you can clearly see that it’s still connected to the analog 1 input, but the stack header says 1+2.

I remember last year it was in version 2, but now in version 3 I didn’t notice incorrect names in title.

This is the second 2.2.120)
