VST Live Pre-Release 3.0.64 Is Available

Hi,

another Friday and a new VST Live Pre-Release, version 3.0.64, is now available. This version introduces several new features:

Layer: Send Options
New options are available for configuring Layer sends.

Monitor: Channel Visibility
You can now control which channels are visible in the Monitor.

Preferences: “Auto Expand Selected Song”
Enable this option to automatically expand the currently selected song.

We have also fixed several issues involving MIDI Transformer synchronization and scales, Tune Channel selection, non-routable Monitor targets, and the Flex Loop duration display at high tempos.

You can download it here.
The version history is available here.

Have a nice weekend,
Michael.

Thanks @Spork for the monitor outs filter, now it is perfect! EDIT: small bug/missing … at the moment monitor visibility is saved PER SONG … we need an apply to all!!! or it to be global not per song - as i have 25 out channels x 80 songs and changing song by song is a bit time spending!

To reach perfection (at least from my point of view) V3 misses only 2 refinement!

  • Faders/meters scale: zoomed on +6 to -12 dB cubase style… i find myself mixing in soundchecks by typing dB in the field instead of moving faders, all mixes are in like 10 pixels range now
  • Optional: custom meters colors (prefere solid changes lightblue to -12dB yellow -6 dB orange -3 dB red for immediate gain checks and setting.
  • DMX transformer like we have midi transformer - to change output channels on the flight , or double them

Anyway, i believe we almost there … very usable v.64 !!

Cheers, Ciro.

Feature request, a midi learn option (button) for the layer send, would speed up work flow tremendously.

thank you

Kind regards, Carl

@musicullum @Spork can you give a feedback on this? Should be fairly simple but saves a lot of time.

Thanks!

I see some culprit that might make your suggestion more difficult: “apply-to-all” might theoretically only apply to global instances, because for song-instances the settings must be stored/recalled song-by-song, no?
BTW: for global-instances, I would welcome the an apply-to-all for sure as Ciro wrote

The filter is to be applied to outputs or global groups mainly to hide unwanted non iem/wedge outputs. Only per part entity affected is song group and generally if you have them, you have to check and fix per song anyway, so a simply apply to all should work!
