Thank you! Could you tell me a mechanism-latency that is expected between VL3 → OBS or OBS → VL3. E.g. does VL3 or OBS something buffering on this connection? If defined, how much to expect?

No idea. But we expect 1-2 frames delay max.

Would mean 40-80msec at 25FPS. Not urgent, asking for live usage (OBS could do the alpha & keying mask to me). Therefore would like to know the technically expected value.

Track alpha and chroma keying is on the list btw.

If you go vl→obs→vl you need to expect 3-4 frames or even more though. With the upcoming version, Director Monitor frame rate will use the highest fps of its feeds; frames are sent to OBS at that rate where they will be picked up by another fps timer, then sent to OBS, we don’t know when it will be processed there. Then the whole thing backwards. It might pile up to 6 frames, probably also depending on the frame rate of any part in the system.
