I have paid for, installed and activated VST Live Pro 2.
However - I have a previous ‘Trail’ installed - that I can’t get rid of.
How do I get rid of a previous ‘expired’ trail ?
Without deleting the activated Trail Pro 2.
Because that previous expired trail STOPS the activated Live 2 from working.
"No license for VST Live has been found " - is displayed before quitting.
Whereas in the Steinberg Activation Manager - it is clearly showing that VST Live Pro is Activated.
And above that - it displays the Trail has expired version too.
How do I resolve this.
Surely if a full version has superseeded a trail version that has expired - the activation manager should be able to give the user the option to remove the trail expired version. This is where Trails fall down - and dissuade users from trail versions or buying the full version.
I have asked Steinberg support several weeks ago - but to no avail ( again !! )
I guess there’s a method to get this working.
Perhaps Steinberg could have the courtesy to let users know how to resolve this?
Hi!
Most of us started using VSTLive with
“Trial “ license, then purchased app and didn’t had problem, therefore no worry, this will be solved quickly.
Can you open Steinberg Activation Manager and make a Screenshot selecting the area where your VST Live licenses and activations are visible?
(Thinking loud, what if deactivating your TRIAL and leave or make VST Live 2 Pro activation only?)
With february purchase, that is a V1. Needless to try to figure out why VL2 lic isn’t appearing jet in your Activation Manager, you have V1 lic for now. Go and grab a V2 quickly
