Vst or hardware vocal pitch shift

Does anyone know of a pitch shift vst or hardware that can octave a vocal and stilk sound realistic ? Thank you

I highly doubt that there is a processor that can do one octave and still sound realistic… at least not with traditional pitch algorithms, maybe with today’s AI…

One thing to consider in this equation is the sample rate. With a high sample rate chances are better that you will get close to something that sounds decent if you pitch shift an octave.

1 octave down is never going to sound realistic as the formant authenticity emanate from a different thing altogether as below…however as an effect its on many songs but never as the centre. eg

So if i record the vocak and pitch shift at a higher sample rate then export it out at a lower will that work ??? :woman_facepalming:
