VST Plugin Problems

I"m sure this has been covered many times before but even though I did a search, I couldn’t find exactly how to install bought VST plugins so that they appear in my insert list.
I just bought the Waves SSL E Channel and I have it on my computer but for whatever reason, I can’t access it in my Cubase 7.5. I have successfully installed plugins before but it has been a long long time and my senile old brain has forgotten the correct procedure. :blush:

Can anybody simply walk me through the exact steps that I need?

All help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure the VST .dll is installed in one of the VST2 folder paths that are listed in the VST Plugin manager menu. If the folder path is not listed you can either add that folder to the list or just move the .dll to one of the folder paths listed.
