I just saved about 1000 Kontakt patches as VST presets and have discovered that none of them will preview from the Sound Browser. The problems seems to be because the presets were saved with a MIDI channel other than 1.
It seems you can only preview VST presets from the Sound Browser if they were saved with MIDI channel 1. I don’t know if this is specific to Kontakt or not. It doesn’t matter if you’re using MIDI input or Computer Kybd input - it only works if the preset was saved as MIDI CH 1.
Is there anyway around this ? I really don’t want to do all 1000 again !!!
Running C8 64bit on Win7 64bit. C7.5 has same behaviour.
