Dear Steinberg developers,
I’d like to have a masterdata dialog for VST aliases where you can define a shortcut for VST name searches within Cubase, Wavelab and SpectraLayers.
eg. defining
ms for “Things Flip EQ”
comp for “UAD Fairchild”
voccomp for “Opto-3A”
trans for “SplitEQ”
and so on.
If you remove a plugin then the alias name should remain but it’s VST definition should be removed from it’s alias definition. A re.move button should be available as well to remove an alias definition completely.
Alias name sorting within this dialog should be A to Z.
This feature might speed up the workflow to place VSTs on tracks
