I recently bought Cubase 6 and Omnisphere Synth. After using it for a while now it keeps giving me the error message: “VSTBridge connection lost.” and it tells me to start with an older version of the project with the incompatible plug-ins disabled. This is pretty annoying, because I have to restart the program every time this message pops up.
I hope someone will help as quickly as possible.
More information would be helpful, but my guess is that you are using 64 bit Cubase and 32 bit Omnisphere (otherwise the VST Bridge would be unnecessary). I am fairly sure that Omnisphere has a 64 bit version available. Have you tried using the native 64 bit plug-in?

I’m using a 64-bit Cubase, yes. After some trying I found that this seems to be the problem. I can’t install the 64-bit version of Omnisphere (there is no option to install the 64-bit and the update only updates the 32-bit), or at least Cubase won’t find it.
