AGM2 was working fine when I was using Cubase 5 point whatever, but now that I’ve upgraded to Cubase 8.52 the VSTbridge crashes when I click the edit menu…
He must have some difficulties to use 64bit version: either using pirated plugins or something wrong with his system. I personally suggest OP (suppose he purchased the plugin) to consult the plugin vendor to check the availability of 64bit plugin updates. // I think AGM is not too old-school to release 64-bit plugins.
In any case of having to use 32-bit plugins for 64-bit DAW, Vienna Ensemble Pro 6 (VEPro 6) is better than any bridge software (whatever you use them together on one machine or in your local intranet). Note that VEPro 5 does not support VST under macOS but only support Audio Units.
It’s been a heavy weekend and for some reason I didn’t think to just try the 64bit version… which works great.
Erm, problems solved!
Also this program is great, you can import Guitar Pro files and have them played back which is fantastic for people like me that like composing music but don’t have time to practice the instrument. Been waiting for a product that does this for years!
