VSTi sequencer sound to .wav without having MIDI notes?

How do i record (create a wavefile) an internal track that is sending sound?

In this case its ABL3 Bassline, i tried outputing its sequencer to midi to get notes so i can make it a wavefile, but the midi really doesnt sound much like its internal sequencer (which has additional things to make it sound like a TB303). So i’d like to record its sound directly.

Doesn’t export audio mixdown do it (select batch export but just the one track)

If not use the phantom bus method:

Create an output in vst connections (mono or stereo as desired) don’t assign it to physical outs.

Route ABL to this output and you can select that out as an input to record in realtime on a new track.
