VSTi wrapper and bank folders

Is there a way to have a VST instrument keep up with a default folder for finding the banks and presets for that particular instrument? I always have to go searching all over the computer to get to patch banks for a particular VSTi that I load, and sometimes I have no idea where they might be stored.

Hi,

This is handled by the VSTi vendor. Cubase cannot affect where the internal presets are out should be stored.

In any case the VSTi should store the path (again, it’s on the VSTi side to do so).

Thanks. That applies to the “Load Patch”, etc. menu on the wrapper itself??
