I just sent it
Any news on the solution?
… we do need the file :
C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\VST Live_64\Vst2Plugins.xml
I have not received a mail or a PM from you. Just drag the file to the forum-editor where you type your answer.
/Michael.
On saturday I sent the e-mail to m.spork@steinberg.de
… I did not receive a mail Can you please try it again and zip the file?
/Michael.
Sent as zip file
Any update?
Hi @Fastkeys27,
sorry, it took a while because I wanted to organize the String Machine Plug-In. And I have no trouble with it.
I checked you Vst2Plugins.xml file and I see that the “String machine.dll” is listed two times :
- C:/Program Files/Steinberg/VSTPlugins/String Machine.dll
- C:/Program Files/VSTPlugins/String Machine.dll
Are both files available on your system? I would suggest to - remove one file ( C:/Program Files/Steinberg/VSTPlugins/String Machine.dll)
- delete C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\VST Live_64\Vst2Plugins.xml
- and start VL again to re-scan all VST2 Plug-Ins
Fine now?
Michael.
Michael, not created crash log
Virtual String Machine V3x64 last version
For reference, I have installed Gig Performer trial and it closes after opening a Gforce plugin and then the other one, also in Cantabile free, but in Cubase they work!
Did you follow Michas suggestions yet?
yes, completely
- delete vst2plugins xml file
- open VSTLive Pro and it rescan
- New project
- Layers–instrument -I choose Gforce impOscar2 and open this one
- Close impOscar2
- in Instrument change impOscar2 by String Machine and crash, VstLive closes
I hope this helps
… have you checked the gforce website for the latest versions?
/Michael.
Yes, I checked it at noon
I have submitted ticket to Gforce
