I have scan plug-ins on start enable in preferences but it still does not recognize Virtual string machine and impOscar2 from Gforce
… that are VST2 plug-ins, correct? Are you sure that you have added the paths to the plug-ins ins the Preferences of VST Live?
/Michael.
Yes, Cubase 10 and Cantabile recognize these as vst2 and run on both
… window or mac? Then we’ll test it,
Michael.
Windows 10 pro
That’s Cantabile free
Thank you in advance!!
Hi,
I’ved downloaded ImpOSCar2 and run the installer :
Do you see that the Default Install Path for the x64 Variant is
C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins
That could be problematic. Well, it was a problem for me, because I have not configured VST LIve to look to that location. That’s why I couldn’t see the plug-in. So, I run the installer again and changed it to the “64 Bit Folder”
C:\Program Files\VstPlugins
Fine. And my VST Folder configuration for VST Live looks like this
And after the installation, I’ve started VST Live and I am able to load instrument
Maybe you have the same problem? Wrong installation path?
/Michael.
I usually have all my vst in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins, vst2 and vst3 and Gforce plugins were installed there and in Cubase they work. But I have uninstalled Gforce impOscar2 and I have installed in C: Program Files\VSTPluins and It works with VSTLive, but when I install String Machine in the same path C: Program Files\VSTPluins, Gforce disappears from VSTLive
I think the problem is due to String Machine. Please Spork, can you install String Machine now that you have impOscar2?
Thanks
… I’ve contacted GForce, because there is no demo available. Just give us a moment,
Michael.
Hi @Fastkeys27,
can you please give me the following file?
C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\VST Live_64\Vst2Plugins.xml
Thank you,
Michael.
Yes, but how can I send a private message?
… click to my icon or my name and select “MESSAGE”,
Michael.
In my browser, if I click to your icon or your name message does not appear
… send it to m.spork (at) steinberg.de
Michael.
but what is the email address?
The forum editor does not like the “at” character (@), so Micha writes “at” instead.
The address ist m.spork@steinberg.de
