Waiting for video device

I dont know why, but just starting again this lovely message of waiting for video devices. Good that this is not solved in Cubase Pro 8. Maybe a Pro Feature, who knows.

Nooooo! I haven’t seen it yet in 8. But it’s been a mainstay since 4. What is UP with this?

one of many Steinberg Forums for luck its just annoying for me, because I use video seldom.

It’s the same pain in a**, whether you actually use video or not. System is hung until I press “OK” and “Abort”

So stupid. How can this have lasted 5 years?
