Does Wavelab 11 have multichannel outputs (free configuration like Wavelab 10)
I am trying to create a similar default montage to the one I use in 10 but cannot get all the different stereo channels going to their respective outputs.
In Wavelab 10 ,I have stereo outputs 1-2 going to d2a 1&2 all the way to stereo 7 -8 going to d2a 7&8.
When I try to open a montage created in Wavelab 10 in Wavelab 11 I get error messages and no audio,The stereo input works as it does in Wavelab 10.
The problem I am having with that setting is that there is no corresponding setting on the Audio montage properties menu as there is in Wavelab 10. Maybe this was fixed in 11.2 in which case can someone point me to a download page as my Steinberg download assistant is not working.

I have tried that setting with no success , what option do you suggest I use in the Audio Montage properties ,in order to be able to assign the channels in the Track routing menu of the channels as there is no corresponding Universal setting ?
Why do you exactly mean with “does not do this”?
Do you have 8 distinct outputs on your device?
I have no problem assigning stuff here.
I am trying with WaveLab 12, but this should be the same with WaveLab 11.2 (do you really have the version 11.2?)
I am trying this on Walvelab 11.
I cannot download 11.2 because the download assistant no longer works.
I am Using a RME AES 32 sound card which is connected into a Prism Sound Adda8xr ,this system works fine on Wlb 10 as it did on wlb7 & 6 before that.
I will try again tomorrow when I am back at the studio and get back to you.
