Wavelab 12.0.30 crash when saving sub-montage with new name

Hi! Firstly congrats PG1 on this update, I just moved from WL11 to WL12 and the process has been seamless and the new features very useful - it even seems to be a bit more “snappy” in operation, which is great!

I have run into an issue when trying to revise stem masters - it can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Open montage containing an existing super clip
  2. Open the super-clip as a sub-montage (double-click from main montage)
  3. Save the sub-montage with a new name (e.g. to update version number)
  4. Crash and close every time after a few seconds “working”

I am working on Windows 11, to be honest this is the first time I’m using super-clips for stem mastering but wouldn’t expect a crash? If I’m doing something wrong, please let me know

Thank you!

Thanks for the report. I can reproduce.
Until 12.0.40, please don’t use “Save As” for a sub-montage.
But you can still use “Save” and “Save Copy” with WaveLab 12.0.30.

Great - thank you!
