WaveLab 12.0.40 Maintenance Update

Dear all,

we are pleased to announce the availability of a new maintenance update for WaveLab Pro and Elements, version 12.0.40 as well as for WaveLab Cast, version 2.0.40.

Besides many stability and performance improvements, this update introduces AAX support, so that WaveLab Pro can now be used as an ARA plug-in within Pro Tools (version 2024.10 required).

As always the installers are available for download from the Steinberg website and via the Steinberg Download Assistant .

Hello, thank you very much for the information, updated immediately. How far are Wavelab’s tests for MacOS Sequoia?

Hello!
When installing the latest 12.0.40 driver for Wavelab Pro 12, an error occurred with saving files. When trying to save a file in the Wavelab file browser, it saves the existing file by constantly opening each subfolder. Going back to 12.0.30 this problem disappeared. I work with Windows 11, 24H2

Mit dem neuen Update lassen sich zwischen Nuendo und Wavelab die Audios immer noch nicht speichern im ARA Betrieb. Außerdem sind nun auch bei Wavelab ein paar sonderbare Dinge aufgefallen. So muss ich beim Schneiden den Stillgenerator nun doppelt klicken, damit er funktioniert. Alles auf den Silicon Maschinen von Mac. Das ist fürs Schneiden natürlich ein No Go und absolut nervig. Bitte um sofortige Behebung des Problems.
