Wavelab 12.0.51 Pitch Shifting / Time Stretching Error

Hello,
I’ve got an issue regarding the pitch shifting / time stretch function of Wavelab 12.0.51. I’m trying to pitch shift a 3hr 15min 4 track file down -12 semitones with 0% length preservation. Every time I try this it gets stuck at about 96% and just hangs forever and never finishes the process. Time stretching to 200% produces the same unsuccessful results. The length of the original file seems to be the indicator of whether it will work or not. If the file is under 3hrs it will complete successfully. If the file is over about 3hr and 15 min it just hangs. I get the same error even if it’s a single channel of audio. It still doesn’t work. It DOES however work in Wavelab version 8.5 with single channel files over 3hr15min. (8.5 doesn’t support multitrack).

Is this a bug in the newer versions of Wavelab? Why isn’t this working?

I’ve included a screenshot of it hanging at 96%. Any ideas?

Suggestion:

Create Montage from multichannel file and pitch shift individual takes.

I don’t know what your actual use is, but there would be a much simpler, higher-quality, and faster way to achieve the same result.

You just need to resample at double your sampling rate (for example: 44100 → 88200) and then change the sampling rate value (88200 → 44100).
