I have audio material in overlapping segments and want to reassemble it in an audio montage. Since the material consists of high-quality music recordings and the transitions occur in the middle of music, I need to create precise, phase-accurate cuts at specific points.
When I use a crossfade to move the subsequent material to the exact point, WaveLab 12 automatically shifts the position to an unintended point. Is there a way to disable this automatic function?
You probably want to disable the following options. With some of these options, WaveLab does the phase synchronization automatically, but sometimes, of course, the human knows better.
