Hey guys! Just downloaded WL 12 Pro Demo. I’ve been a critic of WL since 5. I love to edit inside my mastering program!! (I am who I am)
Anyway, I LOVE WL 12!! I think it’s an amazing editor (again) with everything you need for mastering!!
Here’s my issue:
I need to create stems for each of my pieces. I use an effect type tone at the beginning of each stem, When RENDERING (and Rendering in real time) or RECORDING, WL will not record the tone at the beginning of stem 1
The “tone” is an effect I made, like all other effects I use inside my productions… I don’t understand why it wont record them?
Am I missing something?
Thank you for any help!!
Great update PG!!! I think I’m finally back on the WL wagon!!
I will need more details about the procedure you follow, because there are many way of doing things in WaveLab. I might not be able to answer further before Saturday.
For example: two stereo tracks, one with drums, the other bass guitar.
I put a sound, two seconds before the music starts. The five seconds of drum and bass play.
Right after that, the same “sound” and the drums play (no bass) after that, the “sound” and the bass plays (no drums). So, you get a mix down and two stems, one drums and one bass. The “sound” is used to line up the drums and bass if needed to remix.
The sound is something like buzz blip blip static burst buzz and pretty much that fast!
When I render, I highlight my tracks select everything I want and hit render…. The first “sound” is always missing? So, I make my selection wider, still, it won’t render that first “sound”? Everything is great!! Just that first sound? I tried to record a non montage track. Open the recorder, record from master bus…. Does the same thing, just skips the first sound?
Hope I explained okay? I may try to screen grab or make a short video?
Oh, it does it in both renders. (Real time) and recording back into WL.
UPDATE:
Narrowed it down to the Master RIg! Allen Morgan Electronic pop setting…
It seems to be the saturator and or compressor A and B
Must be the tone I’m using? The Saturator and the compressor don’t like that tone for some reason?
I’ll switch tones and let you know how it goes.
Thank you!
