wavelab 8 not burning cds mac

i keep getting a error, it recognizes the drive and begins to write the disk but after 1 vsecond gives the msg “an error has occurred”.

anyone found a solution to this?

Hello Jason,

Did you make a lot of customizations inside the specific program settings? What about trying to default the program settings.

I have burned literally hundreds of CDs on the Mac drive, also some on a USB drive. It would appear that there is something different with your system.

Are you using a built in drive or a USB drive?

I am having the same problem of WL 8 not seeing my cd drive.

Any solutions or config parms that someone can suggest?

When you open the WaveLab CD write dialog, the CD drive must NOT contain yet any CD. Is this the case?
