Wavelab 9.5Pro crashes when selecting “open last project” in the startup window with or without selecting “use as default” which I would like to. If I select “create Empty project”, no problem at all. Bug?
I tried several reinstallations but no difference.
This slows down the workflow a lot!
Please send me a crash dump so that I can analyse your problem. Do this:
While pressing the Alternate key (press first and maintain), select “Global preferences” from the WaveLab menu with the mouse.
In that case, there is a new tab called “Diagnostics”. There you can activate several functions.
Activate the option “Enable crash report”. Quit and relaunch WaveLab.
When a crash happens, one crash dump is generated.

While I did what you suggested, I also checked the Setting Location from “Independent…” to “common…” .
Now it works as it should.

“Common” requires some write access to the common folder. Are you sure you have them?
If you mean if I am the Administrator, I am
