Wavelab Element 12.0.50 Not Responding and Crash Issue [SOLVED]

Hi Steinberg

This morning I was doing the Mastering process using Wavelab Element 12.0.50. While mastering, suddenly the Wavelab element I was using did not respond (Hang) for a long time, so I forced my PC to restart. When the PC was restarted and I opened the wave lab element again, the result was that it stuck in the logo and then disappeared. I have been remove and re-install again, but result is same. Here I attach the video. Please help me Steinberg, What cause this issue happen?

Hi, did u mange to solve it ?
i have similar issue, i don’t use WLE that much but when starting it today, it was scanning vst (all of them again! ) then disappeared, now every time i try to open it, it starts with the logo and crash.
tried also to hold control key while its opening to try safe mode (not sure if WLE has it ) but nothing !

just to add, i tried also WLE 11.2 and it starts, i load a wave file, (no plugins used) as soon as i play , WLE 11.2 crashes !!
Cubase 14 pro works, stand alone Steinberg products work,
only wavelab and a yamaha sampleRobot editor crash on startup !

Check if the right driver is selected in the WaveLab preferences in the audio connections.

Hi, tried just now with WLE 11.2 (12 wont start at all)
as soon as i click on audio connection, WLE 11.2 crashes
in the other program i mentioned (SampleRobot) on startup it stuck for 2 sec on initialize audio and crash too.
i use steinberg ur44 as my audio device, and i cant see on WLE which driver is used cuz it crash before i can see.
i think i have the latest driver, but ill check again

i tried again.
i turned off my MOXF keyboard, and then UR44, but it wont work either way

This really sound as an ASIO driver issue.

Look in the registry at this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ASIO

WaveLab will try to load these drivers.
You could try to temporarily remove these keys to see if that changes something.
One solution is to erase the CLSID variable.
Later, whether you paste the values again, to restore the info. You could also reinstall the drivers.

That Did the trick !
it was the ASIO4ALL driver !
i just renamed the CLSID of Asio4all to CLSI , and now WLE12 works, also the other software from Yamaha !
probably need to update asio4all or uninstall it if it makes troubles.
