WaveLab Elements 12 (12.0.40) creates a folder after installing in the root of another drive

After installing the program, I unexpectedly found the Steinberg folder with the file “wavelabexchange.dll”. I checked the previous version and it installed this file where necessary - in Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg.
Is this the expected behavior? Because I wouldn’t want parts of the program to suddenly appear on my disks.

P.S. This happens only in Elements.

Didn’t anyone see anything?

What I know is that WaveLab Elements 12.0.50 will come with a fix concerning the Wwavelab Exchange installation.
