Wavelab Elements 9 to Wavelab Pro 9

I’ve just upgraded from to Wavelab Elements 9 to Wavelab Pro 9 and was wondering is it possible to run both programs on the same machine?

So far in spite of setting up my plug in folders in Pro 9 the same as in Elements 9 I noticed plugins such as Masterig were missing. It took to uninstall Elements 9 and a re-scan the plugins folder for all the plugins to appear in Pro 9. Why is this?

Also only having 3 plugin paths in Pro is rather limited. I expected it of a cut- down program but not a Pro version! Cubase Pro 9 can have unlimited plug in paths!

Yes, possible.

Plugins: you have many many more slots in WL than 3. In the Master Section, you can add a slot with the ‘+’ sign - this is not unlimited but certainly more than 3. Then, in the montage you have clip effects, track effects and montage effects - all with multiple plugin slots.

I am talking about Plug-in folders in Preferences

I now have both programs on the same machine running without missing plugins.
