Why can I not hear the audio file I wish to edit in Wavlab
Please help - Wavelab is useless to me without sound

I have the same issue on Windows 10 build 1903 where it removes my Audio Device selection in the Preferences Audio Connection every time I try to play a .wav file. I have ASIO4ALL v2 downloaded in an attempt to resolve that, but it made no difference. It tends to preclude familiarization with the tool when basic functions are absent resulting in sound editing that is seen and not heard.
