Wavelab Not Recognizing CD Drive

When I go to import CD tracks in Wavelab (Wavelab 7.0 Build 506 32 bit, Windows 7), Wavelab doesn’t recognize my CD drive. I saw in another post that updating my Gear ASPI driver might work, but I tried that with no results.

Originally, I installed Wavelab 7.2.1 64-bit on my new computer, but then wanted to use some older VST plugins, so installed the 32-bit version from CD and mainly use that now. For a time, Wavelab 7.2.1 recognized my CD drive, but not anymore.

A Google search reveals that this has been a problem in Wavelab 6, 7, and 8. And on this thread, PG did not have a solution… :confused:

There was some problem sometimes in WaveLab 6, but from WaveLab 7 and a new technology, this kind of problem has almost disappeared. You should really consider a conflict with some other software.
