Wavelab performance meter maxed out but only 13% of CPU being used?

Hopefully PG can make this make sense, but why does Wavelab’s performance max out and stutter (making working on a montage impossible) when there is only 11-15% of my CPU being used on my PC?

Montage with both clip effects and track effects.

Windows 10 - fully updated
WL 10.0.40 b127
9900KS CPU
32GB RAM
SSD drives throughout

The Audio Montage only uses one CPU core to process audio.
Next WaveLab version will use multiple cores.

The next version this year.

Is this already done or do we have to wait for v12?

I still got problems with 11 latest Beta:.Stem Mastering, 5 Tracks, few Plugins, maxed out. Antelope Pure2 @highest buffer rate.

WaveLab 11 now uses multiple cores to process clips and tracks. This is ON by default but can also be disabled:

Hi PG,
I have “process with multiple cores” checked, but still have Wavelab reaching it’s processing limit way before the processor. All Plugins are on the clip. I can play multiple clips simultaneously that add up to a lot more processing, but the limit for processing on one clip is easy to reach. I work at 192kHz pretty much all the time…

Multiple cores are used when they can. If sequenced plugins consume more than one core can achieve, then there is an overload.
multiple cores are used for parallel clips and tracks.
