Wavelab PLugins VST3 Update?

Hi All, I’ve just upgraded to a silicon mac and understand that Steinberg are not support any VST2 plugins as native on this system. I really love peak master and use it quite a bit and was wondering if there is any plans to update these plugins to VST3 so they can work natively on the new apple hardware?

Yes, Peak Master is available on all versions and OS.
This is actually an “internal” plugin, and not a VST-2/3 plugin.
Happy to hear you like it. This is a very old plugin but made in a very neutral way to the sound, thanks to its internal design.

:+1: Peak Master is still one of my most used functions, since I began using WaveLab!

Ok! Thanks @PG1 for some reason I couldn’t see it showing up in my plug-in search bar or drop down menu. I’ll check again when I’m at the studio.

It’s a great limiter especially for jazz, classical stuff it feels more transparent than Pro-L2/Weiss which are my other main limiters.

Hi @PG1 I’ve had another look and your right the Peak Master is still there in the master section, but I can no longer find it in the plug-in list in the Inspector? With my work flow thats where I use most of my plugins with only meters and reference plugins in the master section. Sorry if I’mmissing something obvious but would be great if you could point me in the right direction!?

I should add I’m pretty sure i have the plugin organisation settings correct, see screenshot

You are right, it is not present on Apple Silicon for the montage version.
I will see if this can be changed.
