Wavelab Pro 12 freezing often, drag and drop take Minutes!

Hi, having a problem with Wavelab Pro 12. The Program is freezing as if it must think, when I work with it. Maybe an autirization problem?

Big problems when importing audiofiles with drag and drop. Seconds of Jingles take minutes to import. Every production needs at least the double time.

I have cleaned my computer, windows, windows explorer, fetched the newest drivers. Thrown newest installed apps away, Reinstalled Wavelab. But it wont work properly.

Have installed a graphic card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and disabled the onboard graphic card.

Has anyone had a similar problem? Has anyone a clue, what could help? The same problem stays, when testing Wavelab Pro 13…

Do you use a local network to access audio files? That could be an explanation.
Otherwise, you should always check the antivirus actions.

Hi PG1, I have everything on my PC, no network files in Wavelab. Also I have excluded Wavelab from defender…

This is not WaveLab that you must exclude from Defender. This is the root folder with your audio files.

No, I even have tried to disable defender totally, even before today. It makes no difference. There must be another authorization problem or so, that makes reactions so slow, and lets the whole program freeze. I cannot imagine what I havnt tried to eliminate yet.
