Hello.
I have used Wavelab Pro 12 mainly for removing clicks, high frequency noises… And mastering.
My question is: do I need to buy iZotope RX11 (Standard) for editing music production projects, mainly? Or I am fine with Wavelab Pro 12, only?
The truth is that I can de-click and de-noise with edition and these two tools:
Thank you.

I use them both interchangeably and also Waves NS-1, Clarity VX & Supertone clear as they all can produce different results in my world (mostly spoken word / dialogs and podcasts)
but if just the wavelab one works for you, then there isn’t a need to get RX, Try / Get RX if your use case arrives where it doesn’t work

Suggest you work on one software for a while and if you are still not able to remove clicks, switch to another.
Having both would be ideal.
I can afford iZotope RX, but what I really wanted to know if it’s absolutely necessary, because it is very expensive (233€ for iZotope RX11 Standard on Thomann, currently).
I have heard about Waves restoration plugins, but iZotope RX is clearly the favorite choice for most of users. I also tried Acon Digital Acoustica, but iZotope RX gave me the best results, by far.
Does the iZotope RX team offer a considerable reduction to buy iZotope RX Advanced after having purchased Standard?
In summary: I just want to avoid wasting money.
The plugins from the much less expensive RX Elements (currently on sale for €29) work fine in WaveLab Pro 12.
FWIW, I have RX Advanced and SpectraLayers (full version).
95% of the time I work solely in WL.
Personally, I think SpectraLayers has outshone RX now in terms of power and results on more complicated fixes…
I too use both for restoration RX11 and Spectral Layers. There are some things that RX 11 does well and some other things that Spectral Layers does well. Since most of my work now is in transfer and restoration I find I need them both. FWIW
maybe a slightly cheaper way this weekend to get RX, get RX elements & use the isotope cross grade upgrade option to upgrade it to standard, its still not a small cost to upgrade to advanced, but probably about 1/2 -2/3rds off if you catch it at the right time
Thank you all for all your answers.
I have finally purchased iZotope RX 11 Elements, and it’s enough in conjunction with the tools that Wavelab Pro 12 offers, by the moment.
Would you recommend iZotope Ozone 11 Elements for mastering? Or should I wait for Standard? I am currently mastering with Waves plugins, but lots of people recommend iZotope Ozone for that purpose.
Do you have any opinions about it?
P.S.: Do you know where can I buy iZotope Ozone 9? I prefer the Standalone version. iZotope Ozone 11 is not a Standalone.
