I’ve got a large choral score with lots of comma breath marks. In Engraving Options I’ve set the vertical position for the first option, “Outside outermost staff line.” The vast majority of breath marks look fine, but I’ve got several that are positioned too high. Problem is this: I can adjust those marks in Engrave mode, but when I close the file and open it again, they have jumped back to their original position. I have tried: adjusting the start offset in the Properties panel; deleting and adding again; changing Horizontal Position in Engraving Options; moving the dynamic farther to the right of the mark. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?
Hard to say why without seeing the file, or part of it that shows the problem. (might be hard anyway) This is what I get.

What happens if in Write mode, you move them a small beat to the left? do they reset after opening? Then move them in Engrave to where you want them, save and open.
Thank you for the suggestion. I tried it but nothing much happened.
Thank you for your reply. That’s exactly how I want it to look. I’ve attached the file to my original post. The measures in question are on pages 35 and 69.
OK, I’ll have a look.

There were two of them when I looked in the part. Just checked the first one, but probably the same for the others. They were attached to different places.

You did fix it, thank you! I see what you mean by your screenshots, but I can only see one breath mark in my original file. I will try to figure that out. Thank you for fixing it! Jo
I only saw one in the score, but two in the parts.

I went back to the original and when I got rid of the tie I could then see the second comma. Thanks again!
Good catch @jesele .
Interestingly, also in Galley view the two BMs are visible. Strange that in Page view (score) they are being amalgamated…
Could it be something to be implemented into Proofreading?
