It was in 1995 when WaveLab 1 saw the light of the day. Now, 30 years and more than 300,000 distributed WaveLab products later, our beloved Mastering and Editing solution remains the choice for those who are serious about superior audio quality.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary, we’re offering a 50% discount on all WaveLab Pro, Elements and Cast products, including all full versions, updates and upgrades.
All special offers:
Thank you for being loyal customers for many years!
We look forward to jointly continue the journey!
It’s a pity that the Steinberg marketing again overlook many users in their promotions by linking just two products. There are many loyal users already using both so the discount promotion on SpectraLayers is worth nothing.
Why? It just alienates and annoys many Steinberg loyal users.
Finally, a good time for me to update 9.5 to 12. I wasn’t sure if this would work without a connected eLicenser (which I still have… somewhere), fortunately, the process was easy and smooth.
Ps.
If only SDA didn’t force me to install eLicenser software again, after I removed it as it was suggested by the previous version of SDA, then it would be perfect
Perhaps the pricing structure is wrong. Prefer lower prices as opposed to discounts. The company has their profits from customer purchases and those buying before discounts realise they have lost out.
I see at least the word loyalty has been dropped from this latest sales promotion, I bought both products at full price so clearly have a worse deal than new customers. Goodwill worth nothing these days though it’s all collective bottom line,
Many of us have more than one workstation (we have three here and I know one on this forum has around 15) so in fact a chance to upgrade at a discount is worthwhile to some.
And @Philippe_Bono and the team - congratulations on 30 years of WaveLab. You have been super supportive to me on here over the years. Apologies if I came over in any way ungrateful about the offer earlier on today. You can’t please all of the people all of the time.
Let me answer my own question. If you already own Spectralayers Pro 10 and are waiting for the chance to update to 11 at a discount this is not the time. The current 40% off offer for Spectralayers Pro 11 only applies to new customers. For those that own Spectralayers Pro 10 the current promotion offers nothing.
This isn’t technically correct. I think you’re conflating “upgrade pricing” with “new customer,” or better yet “an existing license.” Anyone can use the link to purchase a full license of SP11P for the discount, “new customer” or not. You just can’t use the 40% discount as part of a purchase to upgrade/update what may otherwise be existing eligible products. So it still offers a 40% discount of SP11P if you own SP10P or not.
I’m not trying to pick nits here - it’s just that while the distinction may not matter to you, it may to others.
Thanks for the flowers @Tech-dance, but you got the wrong Philippe. No worries, we get mixed up all the time
The real honour goes to the one and only @PG1 !
And I take the opportunity to congratulate him and the WaveLab Team for this milestone!
