With Force Duration it works but shouldn’t be needed I think.

Dorico thinks that note should be notated short-to-long for some reason, I’m not sure exactly why. The rules for precisely what Dorico does when you’re that subdivided below the time signature denominator… well, let’s just say if I ever knew them completely, I don’t any longer.
If you ‘double durations’ of this example and keep the 4/4 time sig, the problem goes away.
But if you then change that time sig to 8/4 it reappears. Curious!
